you'd obvisly suggest cordless rite?
not really... i dont like wireless mouses and keyboards man, i rather have something that i dont have to worry about charging up every 3 days.
I already gotta charge up my mp3 player, my phone, my earpeice, etc...
why add 2 more things to that list?
lol what you mean, the mouse in your pic doenst look like its hooked up to anything.
it is.
lol
you just cant see it cuz of how the pic is
-my ancient ass Dell Desktop, 256MB of RAM
-MXL 990 Mic
-PreSonus TUBEPre Pre-Amp
Yeah, I've never used the mic or the preamp, I bought them 2 or 3 years ago.
I need a soundboard or a mixer to set it up so all my shit works together and so far I haven't figured out how to go about that.
If anyone wants to help.
also, wireless signals can easily sneak into your audio signals. I switched over to all wired devices in the studio.
I love the trackball mouse too. I have to have the scroll wheel tho. I got the one with the trackball on the thumb and the standard mouse button/wheel setup on the fingers. shit is dope. I wish I could get a multitouch trackpad for my PC tho. the one on my macbook is SICK. you can scroll all around a window by using 2 fingers on the pad and zoom in and out with 2 fingers and the CTRL key. click with one finger, right click with 2 fingers. trackpads usually suck, but I like this one better than any mouse.
I apparently don't have a viable soundcard to plug the pre right into my computer - which is why I'm thinking I need a mixer/soundboard or a new soundcard/interface
an interface will give you better sound quality but you CAN use your PC's soundcard. it should have an 1/8" line in jack. your preamp has a 1/4" line out jack. You need a 1/4" TS cable and an 1/8" TS adapter. go to radioshack.
