Blood of Angels


Red liquid embraces the holy necks, gods chosen few
Angels with open wounds, cutting threw white satin
Fallen in the line of duty, the wings with jagged rips
And the oculus of an angel is dripping the satans cousin
Red, its flowing down the beautiful skirt and staining
Gods special children dead at sight, bloodcurdling view
No rescue intended, the holy carcass’ disappeared
There souls never had died, not even evil would do
Heaven is overpowered; the white skin is stained in red
Jesus mighty can’t save them, his soul was pronounced dead
Angles covered in blood, holy souls left unharmed
Blue lips and squeezed skin, a breath was helplessly faint
God had raised his power, white light blinded evil
The blood soaked back in skin, angels arose from death
a state of enraged death, an angel released a warrior
to slay the vial satan, and capture his praying devils
white satin dresses not frayed, puffed wings had mended
a hells destiny to destroy us has failed, as it will always..

I stand in blasphemy as blood trickles upon my face
Knowing the sworn judgment I shall embark on alone
Tempting traitors as I am one myself, I can only hate
What I've become. Concealing God from my view I re-
Cognize his disappointment when we finally met eyes.
Embedded in time & a known disciple who could resist
His natural demonic heritage. I wanted to believe so..
Much that I would walk alongside God in heaven, then
When it actually happened I tried stabbing him in the
Back. I couldn't with hold the urge to see my creators
Blood. I have sinned after life in the gates of the conde-
Mned. I swallow every ounce of righteousness I ever ex-
Perienced as a disciple of the Holy Father. I have never
Heard his voice, let alone a whisper from his gentle face.
As I stand dressed in blasphemy in front of the holy counsel
His years of frustration at the world were slowly embedded
Among my self. As I fell from heaven into a righteous hell
I realized I was better off wearing the Blood of an Angel

Umm, this piece was wierd, it didnt really have any creative point as far as i could tell and though the structure was good it was at times wierd to see words trail on into the following line. Also i felt like this would have been better by leaps and bounds if it had rhymes it just felt like a long misguided religous ramble...:-\ the one good thing i found in this poem was the strength of the visuals but that nonwithstanding i didnt find anything i really enjoyed about this poem, like i said i would add some sort of rhyme scheme and try to drive a stronger point, elevation is key, 1luv.
