Kanye West is eyeing a fall tour with Common and Young Jeezy, according to his booking agent, Family Productions Booking Agency. A big tour draw last year opening for Usher, West is negotiating dates for October and November.
A West/Common/Jeezy bill would be one of the strongest hip-hop lineups in recent memory. West's new Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam album, "Late Registration," is expected to debut at No. 1 next week on The Billboard 200, and will perform two songs from it tomorrow (Sept. 2) on ABC's "Good Morning America" live from New York's Lincoln Center.
Yesterday, he made a surprise appearance at his alma mater, Chicago State University, to teach a class in songwriting and arranging for music students as part of the mtvU series "Stand In." The show will premiere Sept. 19.
