I measured my CD's and it was 5in by 5in... It's probably 4.something to be acurate, though..
And make it 300dpi if you want it to print high quality...
Trying to do this on my old 486 with Windows 98 was a bitch.

What you see on the screen and what prints out has nothing to do with each other!!!
What you see on the screen is 72dpi and high quality print is 300dpi... So 1000x1000 pixels is less than a third of that when it prints...
You can decrease the size to show on the web, which is what I do, but when you want high quality print, 1000 x 1000 pixels is nothing...
I know you dont' care about this album, but letting you know for future reference, my little graphicshopper.
I printed the one I made out fits perfect into a cd case.

That's the right size if you are printing with whatever dpi you got.
I'm saying if you want something high quality, you go with 300 dpi...
So measuring with pixel dimensions means nothing (in print) because it's relative to resolution...
but if you go with inches, it's absolute (in print)

i keep mine low for web imaging, but when i make all my posters, its alway 250 +
makes the files super huge though.
this cover was done at like 200.
anyway, he's satisfied now.
and for the record, i really hate the chain.
