ok.i'm sorry, i'm trying to decide. please help, because i'mseriously trying to do this and i need ood suggestions.
i'm trying to decide if i should get a midi keyboard or a synthesizer first. or if i have one do i need the other. should i get a midi controller, like a small 25 key midi contoller and a synthesizer.
i really don't know what i need to get
like for instance, if i get a synth can i use it for fruity loops with piano roll?
i'm gunna start taking piano lessons though, so i don't know what to do
and with a budget between 300-500 dollars, i don't know what to get.
can i get some serious help, no asshole posts please.

piano lessons? $500 budget? maudio keystation pro 88. easy choice.
good synths cost thousands. not hundreds. the keystation is about all you will ever need out of a midi controller tho. I got mine for $400 from guitar center. just buy software vsti instead of hardware instruments. pm me for some deals on them when you're ready.
