but everyone equates that shit now with the sound of when it's used as an effect, and forgets is a actual CORRECTION TOOL. I'm tired of seeing people bash auto tune who have never even touched the software once in there fuckin life.

Most people don't know what it is. Autotune to the general public is the robot sound. But the fact is that all kinds of shitty artists use autotue to cover up their inability to sing. But engineers love to use it to correct instrument pitch.
