Smoka, the entire idea of 3-4 pages is to make it more difficult to tell a compelling and complete story in a short space. It challenges the writer.
If you wanna write several chapters, don't waste my time asking for a short story battle, ask for a novella battle.

no the idea of a short story was so that we are not constricted by space to prove who would make a better real writer, you will get 2-3 chapters...that does not mean it translates into 50 pages...my chapters will only go about 2-3 pages each

My average story is 5,000-9,000 words. In word, 12 font, single spaces, a page is 500 words. That means my average short story is 10-18 pages. I consider that short.
The average novel is 50,000-60,000 words, which means 7-12 stories.
